Welcome to Year 6!

Welcome to Year 6's class page. We are a class of very enthusiastic learners who always try their best! Our class teacher is Mr Thompson-Allen and we have Miss Greenwood and Miss Hilton who are our teaching assistants. On Tuesday mornings, we have Mr Ruff who teaches us PE and RE.

This page will give you some information about our class and useful documents that will support learning at home. Seesaw is our main link between home and school. It enables you to message myself, see weekly homework tasks and read any important announcements. Please also follow our school Facebook and Instagram - @elmridgeprimaryschool - to see regular pictures and updates about what the children are learning about.

Key Days and Dates

Our PE days are Tuesdays and Thursday - please make sure that we are wearing the correct PE kit on these days. Our Library day is Friday.

Homework and Reading at Home

Homework is posted on Seesaw on Fridays. The English and Maths homework are due the following Wednesday and the Spellings will be tested on the Friday. We do expect children to read daily at home and it to be recorded in the reading diary. Once they have been read, we are able to change them. If you are reading any books at home - please write them in the reading diary too! The reading diaries are for all reading and not just the school assigned books.
